Errors: 'Error registering table RSOP_System_Settings', 'Error registering table WDC_Registration', 'Error registering table SF_Triggers', or 'Error registering table SF_System_Registry'

Error:

 

After installing Omni Price or SmartFill, you are receiving the following error:

For Omni Price:
Error registering table RSOP_System_Settings
Error registering table WDC_Registration

 

For SmartFill:

Error registering table SF_Triggers

Error registering table SF_System_Registry

 

Cause:

These errors are often indicative of a corrupted forms or reports dictionary.

 

Resolution:

If the error is the following, see Resolution 1.

Error registering table RSOP_System_Settings
Error registering table WDC_Registration

If the error is the following, see Resolution 2:

Error registering table SF_Triggers

Error registering table SF_System_Registry

If the error continues to happen after going through Resolution 1 and/or Resolution 2, see Resolution 3.

 

Resolution 1:

  1. Verify if the OPRC_FRM.DIC and/or OPRC_RPT.DIC files exit. Note: To find the location of these files, look in the Dynamics.set file. The typical location for the Dynamics.set file is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2015. 
  2. If the OPRC_FRM.DIC and/or OPRC_RPT.DIC files exit,
    1. Move the file(s) to a new location and try installing Omni Price again.
    2. If you can install Omni Price without issue, this means that one or both of these dictionary files is corrupt and needs to be recreated. Use the appropriate KB article as a guide on how to recreate the file(s):

      2. How to re-create the Reports.dic file in Microsoft Dynamics GP: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/850465.
    3. If you install Omni Price and the issue still occurs, see Resolution 3.


Resolution 2:
 

  1. Verify if the FRMS4551.DIC and/or RPTS4551.DIC files exit. Note: To find the location of these files, look in the Dynamics.set file. The typical location for the Dynamics.set file is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2015. 
  2. If the FRMS4551.DIC and/or RPTS4551.DIC files exit,
    1. Move the file(s) to a new location and try installing SmartFill again.
    2. If you can install SmartFill without issue, this means that one or both of these dictionary files is corrupt and needs to be recreated. Use the appropriate KB article as a guide on how to recreate the file(s):

    1. Move the file(s) to a new location and try installing Omni Price or SmartFill again.
    2. If you can install Omni Price or SmartFill without issue, this means that one or both of these dictionary files is corrupt and needs to be recreated. Use the appropriate KB article on how to recreate the file(s):
