Registration Keys: Invalid or not registering on GP9.0 or earlier

Issue:
Your Registration Keys are showing as ‘Invalid’ when your Maintenance Agreement is current and the Keys appear to be correct. 

Cause:

Sometimes it is possible that there is data stuck in the WDC40000 table which is causing the Registration Keys to not ‘stick’ so to speak.


Recommendation:

  1. Be sure you have backups made before going through the steps.
  2. Close the Omni Price Registration window and GP9.0.
  3. Run the following script in SQL    DELETE DYNAMICS..WDC40000 where PRODID = 1999
  4. Log back into GP and re-enter the Registration Key information that was sent to you by the Rockton Sales team.
