What changed from Omni Tools to the GP Toolbox, with regard to Periodic Check Frequency and the Inactivity Timeout Limit?
Omni Tools had a Periodic Check Frequency (how often the check for inactivity would occur) and Timeout Limit (number of inactive minutes before you would be logged out).
The GP Toolbox has the Timeout Limit, which is the same, but it hard-codes the Periodic Check Frequency to 1 (meaning 1 minute). In addition, the Periodic Check Priority was added to Toolbox to handle situations where a large number of processes are occurring.
