Issue:
Processes that we have set to run in GP are not completing after installing the Dynamics GP Toolbox
Causes:
Cause 1:
Periodic check priority is set too low for the Inactivity Timeout tool and/or the System Lockout tool causing these tasks to run prior to other tasks.
Cause 2:
The latest build of Dynamics GP Toolbox is not installed.
Resolutions:
Resolution 1:
If you are using the Inactivity Timeout tool, follow these steps:
- Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP | Tools | Setup | Dynamics GP Toolbox | System Settings.
- In the Dynamics GP Toolbox System Settings window, double click Inactivity Timeout.
- Click Advanced.
- In the Inactivity Timeout Advanced Settings window, change the Periodic Check Priority from 50, for example, to a higher value to allow your other tasks to run first.
- Click OK.
If you are using the System Lockout tool, follow these steps:
- Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP | Tools | Setup | Dynamics GP Toolbox | System Settings.
- In the Dynamics GP Toolbox System Settings window, double click System Lockout.
- Click Advanced.
- In the System Lockout Advanced Settings window, change the Periodic Check Priority from 50, for example, to a higher value to allow your other tasks to run first.
- Click OK.
