The information here describes why SmartFill Objects only need to be installed on the first workstation.
Information:
The SmartFill Object and Repository files are located in the Dynamics database so you only need to install them on the first workstation. They will not need to be installed on the other workstation(s).
For example, when you install SmartFill on the first workstation, make sure you install SmartFill to the same directory where Dynamics GP is installed. Then when SmartFill is going through the installing/upgrading process on the first workstation, the Object and Repository SmartFill files located in the Dynamics database are updated with the Object and Repository information from the Object text files (named SmartFill*.txt, where * is the name of the Object) found in the same directory.

To see the specific SmartFill Object (SF002) and Repository (SF004) file names, you can either use our Inspector tool within our Dynamics GP Toolbox, or you can go to Microsoft Dynamics GP | Tools | Resource Descriptions | Tables. Click the Table lookup button. Then select SmartFill for Product, System for Series, and by Table Physical Name for View By.
