Here at Rockton we like to celebrate all things, big and small, that bring joy to our lives. We thought it would be fun to share our March celebrations with you and hopefully spread the joy around! Here are a few things the Rockton family celebrated this month.

I am celebrating the Denver Nuggets’ first ever western conference championship! They are headed to the NBA finals for the first time in franchise history. Go Nuggets!

Ashlee and I, dressed as characters from the episode “Eye of the Beholder”, to celebrate National Twilight Zone Day (May 11th)

I’ve heard rumors that Cinco de Mayo is a half-invented holiday based on Mexico’s victory over the French in 1862, but I don’t really care if it’s valid or not. I’m just thankful that someone, somewhere, decided drinking margaritas (my favorite drink!) was worth celebrating some event. And of course, victory over oppression is always awesome. I’ll drink to that any day!

To me, what I celebrate most with May is spring in Colorado usually has finally sprung! Outside of the occasionally blizzard that sweeps through forgetting what month it is.
It’s also is home to the great May the 4th Be With you, and celebrating all things Star Wars,
Also for the the first time in history, the world gets to celebrate the Denver Nuggets making it to the NBA finals!
And finally celebrating my two little fur guys and being able to spend more time outside with them!
