Here at Rockton we like to celebrate all things, big and small, that bring joy to our lives. We thought it would be fun to share our March celebrations with you and hopefully spread the joy around! Here are a few things the Rockton family celebrated this month.

We had some surprise visitors for Father’s Day this year. We did foster care from 2002 to 2015 and had more kids than I can count come in/out of our home. We still have relationships with many of the kids we cared for and consider them our extended family. A few of them lived that lived with us 15+ years ago stopped by and spent the day with us and brought their families. We grilled chicken, steak and hot dogs, played yard games and got to enjoy spending time with their kids. It’s so special they consider us grandparents to their children, and the dogs also got spoiled and loved all the rubs and hugs. What a wonderful day! To see them married and have kids of their own truly brings us joy!

But boy oh boy, June is one of my favorite months. I usually finish with it, but for June appreciation, I want to appreciate both my pets! Not only does pet appreciation week fall in June, it also happens to be both of their birthdays! So happiest of birthdays to my two little guys, Arthur and Ben!
This year I also get to celebrate for the first time ever, the National Basketball Champion Denver Nuggets! And a general exciting past year for Denver sports as a while.

My most memorable Father’s Day was when my kids “treated” me to Chuck E Cheese, and I ate crappy pizza while watching them play in the ball pits.

I am celebrating the Denver Nuggets’ first ever NBA championship! They defeated the Miami Heat 4-1 in a best of 7 series. Go Nuggets!
Join us in wishing a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Gregory, Mike, & Michelle this month!
This month we are celebrating the work anniversaries of 2 amazing team members!
Sue is celebrating 13 years with Rockton!
“Sue is an extremely kind and considerate professional who is a joy to work with. She always gives deep thought to decisions and considers all possible solutions along with their pros and cons. Sue consistently displays a calm demeanor and seldom shows any stress or conflict in the workplace. Having been with Rockton for 13 years, she is a very valuable asset for business continuity.”
“I appreciate Sue’s fun sense of humor and her wit. She is very easy to talk to, and always there when I need to bounce ideas off her. I don’t get to talk with her as often as I would like, but when I do, it’s always positive and fun. When we did the Acumatica implementation, we worked together quite a bit and she is smart, talented and I appreciate her detail and thoroughness to make sure things were working correctly. She is always willing to help and I am so glad she is on my small team as well as the larger Rockton Team. “
Michelle is celebrating 10 years with Rockton!
“You will meet many people in life, who say that a person they know is the kindest person in the world. Having met Michelle, I know that I truly have. But it’s not just her kindness that makes her wonderful, but also her authenticity. She is not just kind to be kind, she genuinely seems to want the best for anyone she meets. She sees the good in everyone, but will be honest. It’s truly a wonderful quality that I wished everyone could possess.“
“It’s easy to spot Michelle’s kindness, as it radiates from her constantly. In those rare cases where she’s having her own off day, she still operates with compassion and interest to everyone around her. She is also incredibly dependable, and willing to jump in to help whenever an opportunity arises. Any time I interact with Michelle, I just simply feel good afterwards. I appreciate her vibrant and caring energy.”
