Here at Rockton we like to celebrate all things, big and small, that bring joy to our lives. We thought it would be fun to share our March celebrations with you and hopefully spread the joy around! Here are a few things the Rockton family celebrated this month.

I am celebrating a very successful Community Summit NA 2023, the start of the Denver Nugget’s NBA season, and of course an extra spooky Halloween!

We take an annual trip the pumpkin patch with my nieces and my nephew.

While my kids are moved out now, we started a fun tradition of saving our Halloween Candy to use for decorating a Gingerbread House at Christmas. My kids didn’t like the idea of it as much as we wanted to limit the sugar intake. So when the Gingerbread House building came around, they filled the middle of the house (before putting the roof on) with gobs of wrapped candy, so they could at least eat it at New Year’s once we went to toss our the Gingerbread House.

October! The spookiest of months. Personally I am a bit of a scaredy cat, so I don’t really go full on scary, but as a kid if dressing up meant I could go demand candy from all the neighbors, well that was something I was willing to endure, my best costume was definitely Frankenstein, though where I grew up it snowed every Halloween, so really every kid just went as an Inuit.
But really, besides free candy, my favorite thing about October is the changing of the leaves, the orange, and gold, and yellows and reds, just look amazing. Plus the tiny pleasure in finding a really crunchy leaf to step on. And with the onset of fall, also means fall foods, like Chili! For as spooky as October claims to be, there is nothing cozier than wearing a nice sweater on a crisp autumn evening with a bowl of warm chili, and maybe watching your favorite scary movie (mine being The Brave Little Toaster)
This month we are celebrating the work anniversaries of 1 amazing team member!
Kristyn is celebrating 1 year with Rockton!
“I appreciate working with Kristyn because she is extremely organized and stays on top of things to ensure they are moving forward. She handles multiple projects and tasks with ease and never appears to show stress. She is very approachable and quickly earned the respect and appreciation of those she interacts with. She is definitely a valuable member of the Software Development team and has the ability to manage expectations for deliverables and timelines when faced with competing priorities.”
“I appreciate Kristyn’s amazing organizational skills and positive attitude! Especially when it comes to working with her directly on RPM projects, she is amazing at keeping us on top of things and being sure we’re getting everything we need to and from the customer. I think I speak for both Mark and I when I say we would be much worse off trying to pull these deals together without our talented Project Manager. Thank you, Kristyn!”
