Server Error in ‘/’ Application

This article replaces TK00100.

Error:

When logging onto the Time & Expense portal, you receive the following error.

Server Error in '/' Application

Resolution:

  1. Edit the Web.config file.
  2. Locate <customErrors mode=”On” /> and change the text to <customErrors mode=”Off” />.
  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Attempt to logon to the Time & Expense portal.
  5. Take a screenshot of the new error message and send it to support@rocktonsoftware.com.
  6. Re-open the Web.config file and change <customErrors mode=”Off” /> back to <customErrors mode=”On” />.

Warning: Leaving the text as <customErrors mode=”Off” /> could result in security vulnerability.
