You do not have Access to the Project Cost GL Transaction Entry Form

This article replaces TK00117.

Issue:

After the Check Links process completes, you receive the following warning.

You do not have access to the Project Cost GL Transaction Entry
form. The GP Journal Entry form will close.

Cause:

The Check Links process removed all ISV Security Tasks and Roles.

Resolution:

Initialize the Project Cost security tasks.

1. Go to Project Cost | Utilities | SQL Maintenance.
2. Click Project Cost and then select Additional Processes.
3. Click the Initialize next to ‘Initialize Project Cost Security Tasks’.
4. Close all windows and re-launch Dynamics GP.
