june celebrations 2024

Here at Rockton, we like to celebrate all things, big and small, that bring joy to our lives. We thought it would be fun to share our June celebrations with you and hopefully spread the joy around! Here are a few things the Rockton family celebrated this month.

Celebrating Michelle’s 11 years at Rockton!

“Michelle is so thoughtful and kind, and working with her is truly a joy. Michelle brings so much light and happiness to our team, and I am so grateful for her positive energy. Thank you, Michelle, for being such a wonderful colleague!”

My favorite part about June is the long days of light.  It gives more time to experience the beauty of Colorado, where we live.

I’m celebrating becoming a puppy aunt in June! My nephew has welcomed a new family member, Izzy the sheepadoodle. She’s absolutely adorable and sweet, and I’m so excited to dogsit!

Jenn

I’m celebrating this kid turning 18!  From his rocky entrance into this world, through his Buzz Lightyear, McQueen, John Deere, Pirate, Soccer, and Football-loving phases, he has grown into a kindhearted, life-loving, music-loving, funny, creative, and protective man. The way he loves and cares for family and friends makes me a proud momma.

I’m celebrating the end of a great ski season with one last day at Arapahoe Basin this weekend. I feel so luckily to live in Colorado where I can ski into mid-June! The end of ski season also marks the start of my second favorite season: grilling season.

June is one of my favorite months, not only because it’s my birthday month, and everyone has to cater to me, but it’s such a beautiful time of year.

I love going to Coors Field on a Sunday afternoon, watching the Rockies lose while eating a hot dog and beer. It’s a great month for sports in general, with the end of the NBA and NHL seasons, as well as Wimbledon and every 4 years the World Cup.

It’s also the start of camping season, and getting to explore nature with my pup, and the cows by us come back to graze!
