In order for the Security settings to work in a company in Dynamics GP, you need to have the Security checkbox marked in the Company Setup window (Microsoft Dynamics GP | Tools | Setup | Company | Company).
Note:
If you do not have the Security checkbox marked in the Company Setup window and you have the Dynamics GP Toolbox product installed, for example, non-system administrator users have access to both the Dynamics GP Toolbox Setup and Dynamics GP Toolbox System Settings windows.
