Does Security Auditor really monitor password changes?
Yes, however actual passwords don’t show up in the Security Audit log. The Security Audit log will list XXXXXXXX for the before value and YYYYYYYYY for the after value.
Security Auditor will automatically track these changes. No additional setup is required if you are using Security Auditor (prior to Microsoft Dynamics GP 10).
In more recent versions, you will need to mark the ‘Automatically Audit Security Changes’ in the Auditor Options window.
