Error: Auto Fill System Password option is not active because Dynamics GP is still logging into this company.

Issue:

You are receiving the following error message when attempting to go into the User Setup window.

Auto Fill System Password option is not active because Dynamics GP is still logging into this company.

Cause:

It is likely that you have the ‘Auto Fill System Password’ tool enabled, but do not have a System Password actually setup.

Recommendation:

  1. If you plan on having a System Password, be sure you set one up.  
  2. If you do not plan on using a System Password, disable the ‘Auto Fill System Password’ tool.

Notes:
To enable or disable tools, go to Dynamics GP Toolbox >> System Settings.
