How does Omni Price handle the pricing for backorders and transfers? Omni Price bases its pricing on the amount ordered, not the amount shipped.
For example, if a customer wants 100,000 units, Omni Price uses the price break for 100,000 units even though the transaction will be considered a backorder and not an order. That same selling price will be locked in for when the customer actually takes shipment and the backorder is transferred from a backorder to order, then to an invoice. So, if you ship all 100,000 units right away, or you ship 20,000 units, those units will have 100,000 unit price discount.
