How Table Names Appear on an Audit Group

Subject:
Describes how tables names appear for the different types of audits.

Information:
There are three types of audits that can be added to an audit group.

  1. Form Audits – A Form Audit is created from a form (window). The window name will display in the Audit Group. For example, Vendor Maintenance.
  2. Table Audits – A Table Audit is created from a GP Table and will display the Table Name.  For example,  PM Vendor Master File would be the Table Name for the Vendor Master.
  3. SQL Table Audits – A SQL Table Audit is created from a GP Table but can be created on any  table on the same server. The Physical Table will appear in the Audit Group.  For example, the Physical Table would be PM00200.
