Why doesn’t the Inactivity Timeout feature work in certain instances?
There is a known issue with our Auditor product that may cause the Inactivity Timeout feature of Dynamics GP Toolbox or Omni Tools to not work properly.
If you have any of the Notify Options checked on the Auditor System Settings window, and you also have “Disable Notification when messages arrive” box unchecked, the Inactivity Timeout will not be invoked because it sees this feature as an activity. The work-around for this issue is to check the “Disable Notification when messages arrive” check box on the Auditor System Settings window.
