Service Call Error – Approval_SaveTransactions

This article replaces TK00127.

Error:

When attempting to save Time & Expense transactions on the portal, you receive the following error.

Approval_SaveTransactions:
[HttpWebRequest_WebException_RemoteServer]
Arguments: NotFound

Cause:

1. Project Cost Approvals window sat idle for an extended amount of time.
2. Internet Information Services (IIS) time out control has been reached.

Resolutions:

Resolution 1:

Logout and log back into the Web Suite portal.

1. Click Logout.
2. Enter your User ID and Password.
3. Click Log In.

Resolution 2:

Extend the IIS time out control setting.

1. Open IIS.
2. Select the Server and double-click Configuration Editor.
3. In the Section drop-down, expand the folder system.webServer and select serverRuntime.
4. Change the value for uploadReadAheadSize to 2147483647.
5. Click Apply and restart IIS.
