What is the impact if we use DYNSA User ID instead of the ‘sa’ User ID for installs?
You can use the DYNSA User ID as an alternative to the ‘sa’ User ID. This will not impact installs and updates.
Make sure the DYNSA has the same rights as the ‘sa’ did and that they also have sufficient SQL Server rights to be able to create Tables. This user must either be in the ‘sysadmin’ fixed server role or the ‘db_owner’ role for the DYNAMICS database.
Also, here is the Role and Task for Omni Tools. Please make sure the DYNSA User ID is assigned to it.
